Germiston Callies invites runners to entre marathon
This is the final official CGA qualifying event for Comrades, which will be held in Durban on June 8.
The Germiston Callies Harriers are inviting runners to participate in the Alan Robb Marathon on April 27 from 06:00.
The event will include a 10km race and a 42.2 km half marathon race.
Four outstanding race pacers will assist the runners in reaching their qualifying mark at this official Comrades Marathon qualifier.

“We are pleased to present coach Benzi, who has an outstanding portfolio, as the race ambassador and the four pacers for Alan Robb,” said Barbara Mac Vay of Callies.
“Entries open on Peak Timing and will be closing on April 26. This is the final official CGA qualifying event for Comrades, which will be held in Durban on June 8.
“Germiston Stadium is where the race begins and ends. Alan Robb, a Callies member who won the Comrades Marathon four times, is honoured in this race. One of the five Callies runners to win the Comrades Marathon, Alan completed his 42nd consecutive Comrades in 2015.
“There will be a waterpoint and a double lapper along the 42.2 km route. All runners are invited to attend and cheer on this race,” said Mac Vay.
