The organisation wanted to use sports to unite the community, and the event was themed ‘Love is the answer’.
According to Thabile Sibeko, the founder and CEO of the Vusa Umuntu Community Service Foundation, the event went as planned and was a success.
“We had a thorough planning procedure. We are excited to hold a second tournament in December, and we are grateful to our partners for making the event a success,” said Sibeko.
“This was a community event, for the benefit of the community in hopes of creating a safer and better Primrose.
“We are grateful to the school for letting us utilise their facilities, and the location met our needs. Our idea is to use sports to fight social ills.

“Since the foundation’s inception in 2014, we’ve seen it develop into what it is today: a behemoth capable of serving the community to its full potential,” said Sibeko.
“Mokgoba City FC finished in second place and took home a trophy, silver medals, and R2000. Black Nation FC finished third, taking home a trophy and R1500,” said Sibeko.
