After winning the U13 Mile Race in Alexandra, Sobuza added another impressive result to her growing list of achievements.

Boxer Athletics Club athlete Karabo Sobuza continued to make her mark in the athletics scene with another strong performance on Saturday, November 1, at the Central Gauteng Athletics (CGA) Sub Youth Track & Field League 3 held at Germiston Stadium.

The event drew athletes and spectators alike, creating an electric atmosphere as young talents competed across various track and field disciplines.

Although she narrowly missed the top spot this time, finishing second in her event, Sobuza expressed pride in her performance.

“Preparing for the league always takes a special kind of toughness,” said Sobuza. “The coach always pushes me to go the extra mile and be well-conditioned for competition.”

Sobuza has shown steady progress throughout the year. Earlier, she secured 12th position in the Girls U12 3km race at the South African Schools Cross Country Championships.

Her determination and consistent performances signal a bright future for the young athlete, who continues to represent her club and school with passion and resilience.
