“Reaching five years is a testament to the dedication, commitment and support that have helped the organisation continue its work and build relationships within the community,” said Xala.

The event was aimed at raising funds for the foundation’s work in supporting underprivileged communities, while also encouraging residents to embrace healthier and more active lifestyles.

The fun race has grown beyond being a sporting event, providing an opportunity for community members to connect, participate in a healthy activity and learn more about the foundation’s work.

The turnout highlighted the importance of community involvement in sustaining organisations that seek to make a difference.

By bringing residents together, the event created awareness of the foundation’s work while encouraging greater participation and support.

“We are happy for the support we have been receiving over the years,” said Xala. “Our sponsors believe in the work we do, and because of that, we are able to touch people’s lives.”

As the foundation celebrates this milestone, the fifth annual fun race serves as a reminder of what can be achieved when an organisation remains committed to its purpose and the community stands behind its efforts.

With five years behind it, the foundation can look forward to building on this achievement and continuing to strengthen its presence and impact in the community.
