Robbers break through business wall

No one has been arrested and a case of business robbery has been opened for further investigation.

On Friday, August 12 at around 2am, three unknown men broke a hole in the wall of a tuck shop in Umphathi Road, Mailula section, Vosloorus.

It is alleged that the three men then gained entry though the hole and found the shop attendant inside.

They pointed a firearm at him and demanded some items in the shop.

According to Const Patrick Mashiane, communication officer at Thokoza Police Station, the three took cash, airtime, cigarettes, a Nokia cellphone and a Mobicel.

“The estimated amount value of the items that were taken is R10 330.

“The suspects used a concrete pole to break the wall of the shop,” said Mashiane.

No one has been arrested and a case of business robbery has been opened for further investigation.
