Wine festival to delight wine-lovers

The Cellar Rats Winter Wine Festival will warm up the chilly winter air.

Wine-lovers can look forward to sampling some of the country’s best wines at the Cellar Rats Winter Wine Festival.

The event takes place on June 2 from 11am to 4pm at The Red Roman Shed at Emperors Palace. Proceeds from the event will provide much-needed support to Kids Haven, an organisation aimed at rehabilitating children living on the streets, along with animal rescue centre Dogtown SA.

The festival will feature over 400 of South Africa’s best bubblies, wines, gins, craft beers and more, in a trendy and artisanal indoor venue.

“We are thrilled to be able to bring wine lovers together for the sake of a good cause,” said Sharon De Leur, group marketing manager.

“Along with a fantastic selection of wines, there will also be plenty to keep everyone entertained throughout the day, including a live broadcast by Mix FM.”
