Following the discovery of a mutilated body in oSizweni last Monday, police revealed the gory details surrounding the brutal and gruesome murder.

ALERT: Protest action in Germiston — avoid Lower Boksburg and Knights roads

Last Thursday morning protest action was reported in the Germiston area, near the Goodhope informal settlement on Lower Boksburg and Knights roads. Lower Boksburg and Knights roads were closed to traffic due to the service delivery protest.

Family seeks witnesses to murder on R59 after fake roadblock

The family of Thomas Kleinschmidt is desperately seeking answers after he was shot and killed last year. Kleinschmidt was on duty as an armed escort for a company, on December 21, last year. While en route on the R59 highway, at the Swartkoppies on-ramp, the truck was stopped by about eight police officers (dressed in full uniform and armed with weapons and marked police vehicles).

Tekkie Tax Day is almost here – Help Germiston Child Welfare raise funds

Tekkie Tax Day was celebrated on Friday and residents were urged to make sure they had their sticker, Tekkie Tax shoelaces or T-shirt in support of this worthy cause. Germiston Child Welfare was a participating beneficiary of the campaign and the theme for this year was Leave a Little Sparkle.
