Take in a show at the Barnyard
The Barnyard Theatres shares their exciting line-up for the months ahead.
The Emperors Palace Barnyard Theatre has an incredible line-up of local home-grown talent to wow audiences.
The theatre gets things rocking with Rockers vs Divas, running from August 28 to October 14.
In this spectacular show, the challenge is on as the greatest male rock stars take on the greatest divas in a rock ’n roll showdown.
Cyndi Lauper, Janet Jackson, Cher, Tina Turner and Madonna take on the likes of Michael Jackson, Elton John, Freddie Mercury and George Michael, to name a few, in a fight to win over audiences and critics.

One-off shows gracing the Emperors Palace Barnyard stage:
• Led Zeppelin Tribute:
In the Led Zeppelin Tribute on August 23, prepare for a mind-blowing tribute to the legendary Led Zeppelin by Jason Oosthuizen, who has hand-picked each artist for the ultimate tribute to the iconic rock group, one of the most successful and influential rock groups in history.
• Tribute to Creedence Clearwater Revival:
Clint & Co bring the deep South roots and swamp pop rockabilly sounds of Creedence Clearwater Revival to life on September 15.
Get ready to be swept away by Bad Moon Rising, Proud Mary, Have You Ever Seen the Rain and many more old favourites.
• Elvis & Friends:
Reliving the magic of the king is Shaky Russell, accompanied by a top-level band and singers, who energetically reproduce Elvis’ greatest hits on September 22.
The audience can expect a few surprises from other music legends including Tina Turner, Buddy Holly, The Shadows, Sha Na Na, Neil Diamond and even Marilyn Monroe.
• WONDERboom – The Best Side Story Tour:
After 22 years in the music industry, nine studio albums, three drummers, multiple awards and nominations and a lifetime of experiences, WONDERboom are ready to share their illustrious history with South Africa on September 27.
In an intimate unplugged and story-telling show, The Best Side Story Tour will take their fans on an entertaining journey of love, recreation and crazy situations – the highs and lows of being on the road, in the studio and out of control.
• The Dark Side of the Wall:
Pink Floyd and The Doors tribute show The Dark Side of the Wall, presented by Nic Rush and his incredible band on September 29, is the ultimate tribute to the two greatest psychedelic bands in the history of music – Pink Floyd and The Doors.
