Success for Suzuki dealerships
With NAAMSA verified results in, Suzuki dealerships have increased their average monthly sales to over 1000 units per month.
Suzuki dealerships sold 971 vehicles in May, resulting in their second-best sales month after the current record was achieved in March 2018 after they sold 1006 units. On 10 May 2019 Suzuki Bramley was named the 2018/19 dealership of the year.
“Building a strong dealer network is paramount to our success. We rely on our dealers to maintain the high standards that Suzuki has become known for while welcoming hundreds of new customers every month. This network, together with our brand, products and effective measurement and feedback is our recipe for success,” – André Venter, divisional manager for sales and marketing at Suzuki South Africa.
Out of the entire Suzuki range, the Swift sold 351 units, followed by the Ignis which saw sales reach 185 units and the Ertiga, with 108 units. The South African Car of the Year Award-winning Jimny saw 17 units leaving dealership floors during its restricted supply. Suzuki did confirm that from July this year, they will be receiving in excess of 100 units per month.
