Ekurhuleni jobs are not advertised via social media

The City of Ekurhuleni wishes to warn the public of a scam on social media that falsely advertises jobs from the City.

Scammers lure the public to call them on cellphones where they are then asked to pay money in exchange for false job opportunities.

The City says that no part of its job application process is conducted through social media platforms or messages.
Positions are strictly advertised on their website (www.ekurhuleni.gov.za/vacancies).

Permanent, temporal, and fixed-term vacancies are all advertised on the website.
