Don’t miss out on the Henley Wine Art and Music Festival
Imagine, a weekend filled with art and music and more than one sport to taste some of South Africa's best wine. What more could you want.
Yes, the Henley Wine Art and Music Festival (WAM) is back in full force and will be held on August 27 and 28 in the quaint village of Henley on Klip, only 30 minutes’ drive from Alberton.
Not only does the weekend promise you the best in wine, art and music, but it also takes you away from the city’s hustle and bustle for a day or two in the country side.
Ten wine farms will presented and setting up at 10 different restaurants and eateries around the village and many of them are within walking distance from each other.
Secure your ticket at R150 per person. This will take you to The Hound, Molly’s Speakeasy, Tastebudz, About Time, 104 the Original Henley Restaurant, The Kliphouse, Gem Brulee, Bass Lake, The Makery and the Merchant Business Class Hotel.
Artists will showcase their work at these restaurants where you can kick back, relax, sips some wine, browse through the art and just breathe and be.
Both art and wine will be on sale. Wine tasting is from 11:00 to 16:00 on Saturday and from 11:00 to 15:00 on Sunday,

A branded wine glass and armband will be our access to the venues.
Music brings the festival alive with a children’s variety concert on Saturday at About Time and a concert at the O’Conner Hall 18:00 where Sincerely Ann and her band will get you into the swing of this with their jazzed-up versions of Nat King Cole, Elvis and some 80s hit songs.
Proceeds from WAM will go to the Lions and Rotary community projects.
