Athletes from local schools showcased their talents at the Greater Heidelberg Athletic Championships.

Anke Wiersma won her race for Hoër Volkskool in the girls u-17 200m.

Hoër Volkskool hosted the recent Greater Heidelberg Athletic Championships on February 15.

Schools in the greater Heidelberg that took part in the event alongside Volkskool were Ratanda Secondary School, Mountainview High School, Kgoro ya Thuto and Khanyalesedi.

Katelynn van Wyk from Hoër Volkskool during the girls u-15 3000m race.

Ofentse Mokoena from Mountainview High soared over a set of hurdles during the boys u-15 hurdles race.

Sakhowethu Mkhize from Ratanda Secondary School won his event during the boys u-19 5 000m race.
