Hi-jacking suspects behind bars
DUDUZA - Two hi-jacking suspects have been caught and will appear in Nigel Magistrate’s Court soon.

This follows an incident which took place around 10:30 on June 2 at the residence of a 25 year old business owner at his house in Masechaba View.
The suspects made off with the victim’s car, leaving him sprawled in front of his gate.
Members of Duduza SAPS responded and immediately announced a lookout alert over the SAPS communication radio system, which resulted in the vehicle being spotted on the R550 (Klipriver Road), direction Nigel.
Constables Dasheka and Monaheng spotted the vehicle while on patrol and chased it. They were later assisted by Constables Mohapi and Moloi who met up with them in Dunnottar.
The suspects were forced to pull over and they were arrested. Police found a toy gun, crowbar and hammer in their possession. The investigation is ongoing.
