Suspect/hi-jacker caught red-handed outside HERAUT’s office
NIGEL - A male suspect was just arrested by the police in Laver Street.
The suspect was spotted by HERAUT’s journalist under a parked car outside the office building in Sixth Street. When asked what he was doing under the car, the suspect jumped up and started running down Laver Street.
HERAUT’s journalist summoned members from NIGEL CPF and the police. They arrived within seconds and apprehended the suspect.
He was arrested on a charge of possession of illegal substances, but he is also being questioned by the police in connection with an alleged hi-jacking that occurred elsewhere this morning.
