New presidents inaugurated at Nigel Rotary Club Induction Dinner
The Rotary Club of Nigel held its annual induction dinner for the newly elected Rotary presidents at The Italian Club on July 19.
The evening was celebrated with food and wine by new and existing club members, family and friends.
During the event fellow Rotarians not only welcomed the new presidency, but also celebrated its successes in the past year. The event commenced at 19:00 and guests were welcomed by the Master of Ceremonies, Robert Arnoldi.
Con Keyser was welcomed as the new Rotary Club president and Ina Carniel as new Rotary Anns president. Adele Arnoldi, Ronel Lombaard and Theresa Scholtz were welcomed as new members. Outgoing president Mauritzio Pellizon said he is looking forward to Keyser’s term of office as president.
“Keyser guided me throughout my term as president. He is very capable of executing this task and adds value to Nigel Rotary Club,” Pellizon said.
In his address before inaugurating the new president, Pellizon reflected on his term of office and its successes and milestones and also spoke about his goal to see the club re-affirm and reflect on its commitment to Rotary.
