Learn more about digital addiction at local seminar
What do digital devices in the classroom contribute to focus and concentration?
The answer to this question will be addressed by well-known international writer and public speaker Brad Huddleston during his visit to Heidelberg on August 14 to share his wealth of information on digital addiction in the form of a seminar.
Digital addiction is becoming a bigger and bigger problem every day. SANCA Heidelberg and the Lesedi Community Centre (LCC) would like to invite anyone who is interested to learn more about digital addiction, (especially parents and teachers) to the seminar to pick up the necessary skill to differentiate between half a line of cocaine and an hour of playing video games.
Questions such as ‘How can I become more effective at multi-tasking’ will also form part of the seminar.
The event starts at 19:00 at the Lesedi Community Centre, 1 Breë Street. Entrance is free, but donations for LCC or canned food for unity parade are welcomed.
