According to police spokesperson Sgt Nellie Dwaba, Schoeman is in violation of his parole conditions in that he was placed under house arrest by a court of law. The parole conditions entail among others that while under house arrest, Schoeman has to visit Nigel Correctional Services (NCS) once a month to sign the parole book, but since September 28 he has failed to do so.
Sgt Dwaba confirmed that after visiting Schoeman’s last known residential address in Jameson Park several times, it became clear that not only is he in violation of the parole conditions by not signing the parole book at NSC, but it also appears he had left his place of residence without informing the parole officers.
“The parole conditions were thoroughly explained to him and he has signed a document stating that he fully understands the terms thereof,” Sgt Dwaba said.
The Police are therefore appealing to anyone with information regarding Schoeman or his current whereabouts, to phone W/O Teboho Mohlaping on 011 812-6503 or at 083 718 5068.
