Nigel gymnasts, Mignon Korb, Amone Billing, Ilene Jones and Elske Stander from the Nigel Gymnastics Club competed at the Gauteng Provincial gymnastics competition.
It which took place in Eldoraigne on 14 and 15 September. The standard of competition is said to be extremely high. Gymnasts have to achieve a minimum average on their four apparatus to qualify for the next competition.
During the competition, all four gymnasts qualified for participation at the South African Games (highest level of competition in their levels).
