Shalimar Primary top performers awarded

Shalimar Ridge Primary top achievers were awarded for their hard work and dedication throughout the year.

Shalimar Ridge Primary school held their annual prizegiving on November 7. Top achievers were awarded for their hard work and dedication throughout the year.

Anotida Adwell walked away as the top achiever in Grade 1A, John Hlahane in Grade 1B and Lesego Mofokeng in Grade 1C. Omphile Dube, Lala Dilsham and Precious Ndlovu were the Grade 2 top achievers.

Ngawam Pula was also awarded Dux-learner of the year, while Nadine Chidimbire (Grade1) won the English speech contest and Atlehang Msimanga (Grade 3) the winner of the Afrikaans speech contest. Oratilwe Nkosi in Grade 4 and Tshiamo Sepogoane in Grade 6 was the Afrikaans speech contest winners.

In Grade 4 Jaydeen Palitha was announced top achiever and overall best performer in the school with an average of 95%. Siyanda Mkhwanazi earned the top achiever award for Grade 5 and was also the winner of the senior English and Afrikaans speech contests.

Mpilenhle Radebe and Kgotso Monaheng won top achiever awards for Grade 6 and 7 respectively. The Victor Ludorm trophy went to Tshepo Mofokeng for cross-country at provincial level.
