According to Sgt Harry Manaka (SAPS Duduza corporate communication), Kunene was stabbed several times.
His body was discovered around 07:00 by a pedestrian who alerted the police and emergency services. Kunene was however, declared dead on arrival.
“The motive for the killing is unknown and no arrests have been made yet,” Sgt Manaka said.
Police are investigating a murder case.
