House burglaries is a concern

This includes the concern about vacant houses allocated to new owners, but they haven't occupied them yet.

Following concerns about an increase in house burglaries and robberies in the area, Devon SAPS and law enforcement role players visited the Devon Ext 4 community on March 26.

The role players included Vispol, Devon SAPS and local CPF members.

The members engaged with community members about the increase in these crimes.

The community had questions in connection with the low water bridge that the community needs to cross to go to work and/or school by vehicle or as a pedestrian in the wet and rainy seasons and wanted the issue to be resolved.

At those times, the bridge is flooded and not accessible.

On the last item on the agenda, the community wanted answers for the lack of electricity in Devon Ext 4, Phase 2.
