Bowlers excel at Suikerbosrand championship in Heidelberg

Bowlers from across the region competed in the Suikerbosrand Singles Championships in Heidelberg, showing skill and resilience despite challenging weather conditions.

The Suikerbosrand Singles Championships took place at the Heidelberg Bowling Club on October 11 and 12.

Despite challenging weather, the bowlers were in high spirits when they faced slower, heavier greens. The quality of play, however, remained impressive.

The tournament was also part of the Professional Bowls Association (PBA) qualifier finals.
