Life After 50 celebrates one year of fellowship among elders

Life After 50 celebrated one year of love and unity among the members with the chairperson urging the members to continue growing the organisation.

Life After 50 Ratanda Branch celebrated its first anniversary in Springs on October 25 in a joyous event attended by about 90 members drawn from across the Lesedi Municipality.

Zandile Mokoena from the organisation said the anniversary brought together senior citizens from all walks of life to reflect on the organisation’s journey, fellowship, and impact over the past year.

The chairperson, Tshabi Cindi, addressed the gathering, expressing heartfelt gratitude and saying the Lord has carried the branch this far, thanking members for their commitment and unwavering support since inception.

“Cindi emphasised the importance of unity, love, and mutual support among members, noting that Life After 50 is not just an organisation but a family that uplifts and cares for one another beyond the age of 50,” said Mokoena.

She said the celebration was filled with excitement, praise, and thanksgiving, with members sharing testimonies of how the branch has brought companionship, purpose, and active ageing to their lives.

“Members left encouraged and energised for the year ahead, committing to grow the branch and continue serving the community of Ratanda and greater Lesedi,” concluded Mokoena.
