Rensburg Forum appeals for hygiene donations to restore dignity during Women’s Month
The Rensburg Forum is calling on residents, businesses and community organisations to donate hygiene products and toiletries for women and teenage girls in Heidelberg, Rensburg, Ratanda and surrounding areas. Donations close on August 22 , with the official handover taking place on August 28.
The Rensburg Forum has launched its Women’s Month Community Donation Drive, calling on residents, businesses and organisations to help provide essential hygiene products to women and teenage girls in Heidelberg, Rensburg, Ratanda and surrounding communities.
The initiative follows the success of the forum’s recent Winter Drive and aims to support vulnerable women by collecting much-needed sanitary products, toiletries and other personal care items.
According to the Rensburg Forum, many women and girls continue to face daily challenges because they cannot afford basic hygiene essentials.
The campaign seeks to restore dignity, boost confidence and ensure that those in need have access to these necessities.
Throughout August, the organisation is appealing to local businesses, corporate partners, schools, churches, community organisations and members of the public to contribute to the drive.

Donations needed include various sanitary products, soap, toothpaste, deodorant, body lotion, shampoo, new underwear, face cloths and monetary contributions to help purchase additional hygiene products.
The forum has also opened sponsorship opportunities for businesses and organisations wishing to partner with the initiative.
Sponsors will be acknowledged on the organisation’s social media platforms and recognised during the official donation handover, while helping make a meaningful difference in the lives of local women and girls.
Organisers said every donation, regardless of its size, will contribute towards ensuring that women and teenage girls receive the essential items they need.
Donations will be accepted until August 22, with the community handover taking place on August 28.
