The eagerly anticipated encounter attracted strong support from both schools, with spectators treated to a day of competitive and high-intensity school rugby.

Volkskool’s first team delivered a composed and disciplined performance to claim a narrow 13-7 victory in a tightly contested encounter. Both sides showed physicality and determination throughout the match, but Volkskool capitalised on key opportunities and defended resolutely to secure the win.

Marais Viljoen applied pressure during crucial stages of the game, and Volkskool’s defensive structure and game management ultimately proved decisive in the closing moments.

The second team fixture also produced entertaining rugby, with Volkskool completing the double after earning a deserved 20-10 victory.
