The Heidelberg Hockey Club ladies delivered a polished performance on May 24, as they secured an impressive 4-1 victory over BN Fossils in their Round 5 fixture at the Benoni High School Astro in Benoni.

From the opening whistle, Heidelberg HC Ladies displayed composure, discipline, and attacking intent, controlling large periods of the match with structured play and effective teamwork.

Their determination and relentless work rate allowed them to dominate possession and create numerous scoring opportunities, ultimately converting four goals in a memorable outing.

Chairperson Rowleën Welsh commended the team for their outstanding effort and unity on the field.

We are extremely proud of every player and coach, Louwrens van Heerden, for the commitment and spirit they showed on the day,” she said.
