Heidelberg Hockey Club ladies secure third place in EGHA Promotional League
Heidelberg Hockey Club’s ladies’ team has ended its 2026 EGHA Promotional League campaign on a high, securing an impressive third-place finish after a season of determination, teamwork and growth.
Heidelberg Hockey Club’s ladies’ team recently wrapped up its 2026 campaign with an impressive third-place finish in the EGHA Promotional League.
The achievement marks a successful new chapter for the team, which embraced the challenge of competing at league level and produced a season characterised by determination, teamwork and growth.
Throughout the campaign, the Heidelberg ladies faced strong opposition while continuing to support one another both on and off the field.
Their commitment and fighting spirit helped establish them as a competitive team in the league.
Heidelberg Hockey Club chairperson Rowleën Welsh said the team’s achievement was a proud moment for the club.
“We are extremely proud of what the ladies have achieved this season. Finishing third in the EGHA Promotional League is a wonderful accomplishment, especially as this team has grown through a new and exciting chapter for the club. Their commitment, teamwork and determination have been outstanding, and we are grateful to the coaches, players and supporters who contributed to this successful season,” she said.
