Chrissiesmeer Police recently arrested five suspects in possession of copper cables.
Consts S.S. Sibanyoni and G. Mthimunye, conducting crime prevention patrols along the N17, arrested the suspects after 12 rolls of copper cable weighing 147.2kg were found in their car.
Jacob Motaung, Abednico Mohlaba, Bheki Manana, Mduduzi Mnyeepee and Albert Nkosi appeared in the Ermelo Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday for bail application.
