Man arrested for dealing in drugs

On Sunday at about 13:00 while on patrol in Naude Street, police noticed a man acting suspiciously and when they attempted to question him, he ran away.

The suspect was subsequently apprehended and was found to be in possession of eight “slopes” of dagga with a street value of R800.

A 30-year-old man was arrested and charged with possession of and dealing in drugs.
