Police warn residents

Police have warned residents to be aware of drug trafficking on the streets of Ermelo and Wesselton.

At about 23:30 on Friday, police were on routine patrol in Wesselton when a member of the public pointed out a shack in Thusi Squatter Camp from where it was believed dagga was being sold.

Police investigated and found several packets of the drug.

A 22 year-old man was arrested and charged with possession of and dealing in dagga.
