Vodacom hosts career day
54 grade 12 learners attended the expo which was also open to grade 10's and 11's.
South Africa’s biggest cellphone network Vodacom recently hosted a career day expo at Umzimvelo Combined Agricultural School near Ermelo.
The purpose of the expo was to expose learners to different career opportunities that are available and advise them on the type of subjects they need to take in order to pursue specific careers.
54 grade 12 learners attended the expo which was also open to grade 10’s and 11’s.
Vodacom employees manned the technology and commercial zone, the Department of Education took the learners through the bursary application process and the Gert Sibande TVET College were also present at the expo.
