While on patrol last Wednesday, Consts T.A. Maseko and P.S. Mofokeng of the Nerston Border Police arrested two suspects who were in possession of 9,662 kg dagga worth an estimated street value of R13 250.
The arrests were made about 800m south of the border post.
Both suspects were charged with possession of a banned substance and dealing in drugs.
The suspects were detained at the Amsterdam Police Station before appearing in court.
