Two suspects, aged 31 and 23 years old respectively, were taken into custody by Davel Police last Thursday morning on charges of dealing in dagga after they were found in possession of 13,7 kg of the weed.
Police spokesman for Davel, Const Portia Nkosi, said Costs MP Dlamini and BE Mavuso stopped a Nissan Quantum during a routine stop-and-search operation on the N17 and found several “arms” of dagga hidden in the vehicle.
The suspects appeared in the Ermelo Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
