A 32-year-old man died after being found with a stab wound in the upper left arm near the corner of Joubert and Sluiter Street at 23:50 on Saturday night.
Ambulance personnel and police officers did what they could in an attempt to save the man’s life but he succumbed on the scene.

Police have also opened a case of attempted murder after a 26-year-old man was found with stab wounds to his body in Malaza Street, Wesselton at about 03:00 on Sunday.
