The Ermelo Regional court recently sentenced Mandla “Mdlapapa” Hlophe (25) to four years imprisonment for charges of housebreaking, theft, attempted murder and malicious damage to property.
His accomplices, Melusi Nkosi (20), Mandla “Piyoyo” Steven Nkosi (29), Fana Mthi Dlamini (30) and Bongani Hobest Sibanyoni (20) were all handed four years suspended sentences for the crime committed in September 2014, Lothair.
Senzo Shongwe (25) and Anthony Mfanyana Nkosi (23) were sentenced to 12 years imprisonment for charges of assault with grievous bodily harm and robbery.
The crime was committed in Silindile, Lothair last year.
