Murder case postponed again

Further charges against the two include kidnapping, attempted murder, theft and assault.

The case in which two accused, Sithembiso Ndaba (24) and Ayanda Mahlobo (24), stand accused of the murder of Rofhiwa Tshifango (38) in November last year has again been postponed, this time until 24 March.

Further charges against the two include kidnapping, attempted murder, theft and assault.

Tshifango worked at the Department of Public Works in Ermelo. His body was found hanging from a tree near the Middelplaat road on 29 November. A friend was found next to the roadside in a badly beaten state.

An additional charge of attempted murder has since been brought against one of the accused after a police officer was assaulted.
