The body of a baby, suspected to be between six to seven months premature, was discovered next to the Standerton Taxi Rank on 6 July.
According to the police, a woman was going through a pile of rubbish and noticed a green shopping bag.
“When I opened it, I discovered the tiny body wrapped in a T-shirt,” she said.
She immediately called for help from a nearby shop.
