Hartebeeskop Police Station’s members, near Carolina, are looking for a man who allegedly shot and killed a 55-year-old man, who was a traditional healer.
Information at police’s disposal revealed that on 12 February, early in the evening, the traditional healer was at home together with his family when they heard the dog barking outside.
He asked a family member to go and check and when that member arrived at the gate, there was a man believed to be in his 30’s who reportedly needed to see the healer for a consultation session.
He was directed to the consultation room while the family member went and called the healer.
After some time, they heard gunshots being fired and went to check at the consultation room, where they were met by the healer’s body lying in a pool of blood, with the suspect nowhere to be found.
The suspect is still at large and police are investigating a murder case.
