Trio appear in Ermelo Magistrate’s Court for stealing cables worth R200 000 from Transnet

The men were caught by the Hawks Serious Organized Crime Investigation Unit, the Secunda K9 Unit and the Transnet task team.

Three people were remanded in custody after they had been arrested by the Hawks Serious Organised Crime Investigation Unit, the Secunda K9 Unit and the Transnet task team for possession of suspected stolen property.

Messrs. Sazile Vincent Bhengu (21), Brian Dlamini (44) and Tsepelo Sinalo Kibe (44) were remanded by Ermelo Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 25 February after they had been caught with copper cables belonging to Transnet, to the value of R200 000.

The case was postponed to 27 February for a formal bail application.
