Learners unharmed after Ermelo school bus crashed into truck

BETHAL – A school bus from Hoërskool Ermelo that was transporting hostel kids to Bethal, crashed into a stationary truck just outside Davel tonight, 10 May.

According to Mr Jaap Pretorius from Bethal CPF, the accident happened at about 6.40pm.

Although the school bus is badly damaged, none of the learners were injured.

The five ton truck with a cargo of coal was stationary in the road because of a flat tyre.

Bethal CPF, the fire brigade, ER24 and Davel police were on the scene.
