Ermelo Police are investigating two cases of culpable homicide that occurred on 1 December.
According to Capt Carla Prinsloo, spokesman for Ermelo Police, the first incident took place at around midnight on 1 December.
A Toyota Run X was found overturned on the corner of Davel- and Van Schouwenberg Street.
She added that the driver died on the scene and the passengers were taken to hospital.
Two of the passengers had serious injuries and one had minor injuries.
The second incident happened at about 1am in Fourie street, where a Toyota Hillux bakkie overturned.
The driver and passenger died on the scene.
