Ermelo Combined School was filled with colour, creativity and school spirit during its recent fundraising Fun Week, with learners dressing up according to a different theme each day.
The week kicked off on September 4 with Springbok Attire Day, when learners showed their support for the Springboks by wearing green and gold.
On Monday, September 7, learners travelled through the decades for Decade Day, choosing styles inspired by the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s.
Tuesday brought a more dramatic theme with Corruption Day/Gangster Day. Learners dressed in mafia-inspired outfits, with pinstripe suits, fedoras, sunglasses and other mob-style clothing adding to the theme.
Countryside Day took place on Wednesday, September 9, with learners embracing a farm-inspired look. Plaid shirts, overalls, boots and hats formed part of the day’s outfits.
On Thursday, September 10, learners showed off their sporting spirit for Sport Day. Favourite team jerseys, sports gear, activewear and team colours were among the outfits on display.
The week concluded on Friday with a Gala Masquerade, where learners dressed up for the occasion with masks and formal attire.
Prizes were awarded for the best-dressed learners each day, adding a friendly competitive element to the fundraising activities.
