Ms Ntombana Linah Nkambule went missing from Hillside farm in Carolina on 15 January.
According to her granddaughter, Ms Velephi Sibongile Simelane, they all went to bed at the same time, but later heard the sound of the door being slammed closed.
She realised her grandmother was missing and began looking for her.
After searching for two hours they were unable to find her.
When Ms Nkambule disappeared, she was wearing a green jersey, brown dress and grey tekkies.
