Ecomed Medical donates mobile oxygen concentrator to Mvelo in Ermelo

According to Ms Gugu Nkosi, mother of Mvelo Nzimande, they have been struggling with the electrical oxygen machine during load shedding and power outages as Mvelo Nzimande needs oxygen constantly.

Mr Franser Barnard, an employee of Ecomed Medical, donated a mobile oxygen concentrator on behalf of Ecomed Medical, to Mvelo Nzimande (9) in Ermelo on 3 March.

Mvelo Nzimande has been using an oxygen machine to help him breathe since birth.

Mr Barnard has been working with him for almost five years.

According to Ms Gugu Nkosi, mother of Mvelo Nzimande, they have been struggling with the electrical oxygen machine during load shedding and power outages as Mvelo Nzimande needs oxygen constantly.

The mobile oxygen concentrator has a battery that can be charged after 4 hours of use.

Ms Nkosi said: “This machine will make a big difference when there is no electricity and it will also help us when travelling.”

She said, they have not travelled much as it was difficult in the past.
