Four cases of Coronavirus confirmed in Gert Sibande District area

Four cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the Gert Sibande Region.

Mpumalanga Department of Health confirmed that four people in the Gert Sibande region have tested positive for Covid-19.

According to Mr Dumisani Malamule, spokesman for Mpumalanga Department of Health, 33 people have been tested, with 20 cases being negative, four positive and nine tests are still pending.

The Highvelder send enquiries to Mr Malamule after numerous rumours were received about four cases in Ermelo.

This was however not the case as the four cases in the Gert Sibande region was in Secunda, Standerton and two in Volksrust.

Mpumalanga has 14 cases of Covid-19, with four cases in Gert Sibande, four in Nkangala and six cases in Ehlanzeni.
