Easter service held for Ermelo homeless people at Sport Inn

An Easter service was arranged to remind the homeless that they are not forgotten and that God will provide for them.

Pastor Themba Mavuso brought hope to the homeless of Ermelo as they celebrated Easter on 11 April.

 

After the service, they were treated to a cup of soup, muffins and hot cross buns.

Msukaligwa Municipality has made the Sport Inn in Ermelo available as a temporary shelter for the homeless.

The municipality together with the Department of Social Development, CMR and the Department of Health screened the people for their general health and gave them a place to sleep.

They are provided with three meals a day.
