Gert Sibande College airs lessons to keep learners updated during Covid-19 national lockdown

Gert Sibande TVET College entered into a partnership with Ligwalagwala FM and GauTV to provide support for learners during the Covid-19 lockdown.
Lessons were recorded at the Gert Sibande (GS) College Ermelo Campus on 13 April and at the Evander Campus on 14 April.

According to Mr Thokozani Ndhlovu, Acting Marketing and Communication Manager at Gert Sibande TVET College, lecturers present lessons live on the radio from Monday to Thursday at 9.05pm– 9.35pm on Ligwalagwala FM.
The television program will be aired from Mondays to Fridays from 6.30am to 7am on DSTV Channel 265 and began airing yesterday, 15 April.
Mr Ndhlovu said: “Both programmes are aimed at providing support to students to be able to catch up with their lessons during the Covid-19 lockdown.”

Students and parents are requested to support this initiative by the college.
“Other initiatives will be implemented as we go along.”
