ERMELO – Ms Annalize Gouws was recently appointed as the principal of Laerskool Ermelo.

Ms Gouws was appointed as the deputy principal in 2019 and was promoted to acting principal in 2021.

She is responsible for the school management team, the staff members and the learners.

Ms Gouws began as a student teacher at the school 17 years ago, and completed her degree cum laude.

She completed her honours in 2009, furthered her studies and obtained a master’s degree.
