Four men wanted for business robbery in Ermelo

The suspects fled the scene with 15 stolen laptops.

ERMELO – A local business owner and his employees were allegedly robbed at gunpoint in her shop in Joubert and Murray streets on the morning of September 19.

According to the information provided by Constable Patricia Msenzane of the Ermelo police, the business owner alleged that the robbery occurred at 09:35 when three men entered the shop, pretending to be customers.

She said one of the alleged suspects was pretending to be talking to one of the staff, and after some time, the other two took out firearms and held the staff up.

“The one who was having a conversation with the staff ran to guard the entrance.

The suspects allegedly stole 15 laptops from the shop and fled the scene.

Investigations into the case continue.
