WATCH – Perpetrator caught on CCTV throwing brick through business’ door in Ermelo

A spate of burglaries hit Ermelo over the past weekend with local businesses, Unlimited Baking Supplies and Printdit targeted in separate instances.

The perpetrator(s) broke into both establishments, causing significant concern among residents and business owners alike.

Unlimited Baking Supplies was targeted on Friday night, but was fortunate, as only the front door was damaged and nothing was stolen. CCTV footage shows how the perpetrator throws a brick through the glass door.

At Printdit, a business in the same street, valuable equipment was stolen during the early hours of Sunday morning. It is unclear if this was the same person.

Carla Prinsloo, spokesperson for the local police, had not given comment by the time of going to press.
